My wife sandy and I have been enjoying photography for 16 years. We began with wedding photography and soon that grew into child and family portraiture. Sandy and I work together at "Dan Berres Studios" and both enjoy the people we photograph. Sandy does the ordering and computer enhancements. She also helps with your questions and helps you choose a portrait that is right for you.

Much of our portraiture is done on location, perhaps your farm,  back yard, or at a park.  So whether it is a family or high school senior you can always be sure that they will be done differently than someone else's.  If you prefer the studio, that’s fine, we have a verity of backgrounds to match your clothes.

We also prefer to have a consultation with you before photographing your session so we can suggest clothes and to find out how the portrait will be used. Perhaps, it is a small 8X10 for on a desk or bookcase, a 16x20 for over that comfortable chair, or it might be a 20x24 for over your couch or fireplace; that way we know more about your needs and can provide better product.

Memories are stored and kept alive in portraits and should be made often. I suggest every 3 years. A portrait will keep the memories of your family not only in your heart, but also on your walls for all to enjoy.
